Sibiu – European Capital of Culture in 2007
I have been in March in Sibiu and the city was a lot different than what I had in mind from previous years. Most of buildings were renovated and I had a feeling of going in a nice city like Vienna. The picture is taken in the town center, on a pedestrian-only street on a Sunday afternoon. Not too many people, ideal for the 180 degrees panorama.
Paris in February
This spring, everyone goes to Paris. Low cost air fares are booming, it’s not the holiday season yet but it is a good moment to travel. Winter was not present this year in Europe, the snow was just a rarity even in the mountains.
This picture was taken by Ciprian last month and I guess the location is the Eiffel Tower (La Tour Eiffel). Good perspective but kind of hard to see your house from there due to crowded buildings.
A bientôt!
Costesti quarry and Buila Mountain
Picture taken by me this winter in Costesti, Valcea County, Romania. The 360 view was great from that point. You can see the quarry on the left side, Buila Mountain is the one with the snow. This region is very close to where my father was born and it is one of the most beautiful mountain regions in Romania. It has a very high density of religious objectives, monasteries and churches. Worth visiting, especially during the summer.

nice picture of Sibiu – never visited that place, only Bucharest and Brasov. Was supposed to visit Sibiu, but no time to do so! I loved Bucharest! Great city, and great feeling to it.
